Anyone know how the Bose in the new 2011 HD I ordered will compare to the Bose in my 2003 Vette?

it'll be crappy like everything that "BOSE" makes.

It will be better. The Bose in the NBS trucks are better than the OBS.

IF you got a Denali HD the bose will be pretty good; they get 5.1 surround sound with a center speaker much better amp than the normal sierra/silverados etc..

otherwise the 2011HD bose is probably similar to your vette. Most of that is opinion though; what sounds great to one person sounds like crap to another etc.

You'll just have to see for yourself I guess.

Our old neighbor had a new Yukon Hybrid with Bose and it sounded way better than our truck. I am pretty sure it didn't have RSE.

I ordered a Chevy 3500 SRW.I know lots of people say Bose sucks,and I know there's always something better,but the Bose in my Vette isn't that bad to me.Nothing fancy,but my current truck has a Kenwood head unit with remote,door speakers and 50wrms 4 chanel amp,a 10" ED sub with Kicker 200wrms amp.I know lots of people would think that is a crappy system too,and ya it would be nice to have better but I can live with it.If it wasn't for the sub in my truck,I might like the Bose (it has 8" in each door)in my Vette better,it would be close but I don't drive the Vette that often and when I do,I don't crank it up that much.I listen to the engine (modded) more for shift points,ect... and just to hear it.About 4 months ago I looked at a new truck (LTZ) on the lot and wasn't real impressed,but I didn't really play with it much and the doors were open,so I know that wasn't the best test.Oh well,If it is close to my vette I should be able to live with it fo a while till I can justify spending more money on it.
