I've had some thoughts about repainting my truck..I like black, but I think I want a different color...Something...I don't know...Lighter perhaps....
I realize black is hard to cover, but I think I can do it without removing the black...As a matter of fact, I think one of our members here has done it already...went from black to pink as I recall....
I guess I'll have to pm him to see how he did it, or if it was professionally done...;)

if any of you care to pm this member for me and ask how he did it, that would be great...

thanks in advance...

Scott

I have no idea..I'm really very interested in hearing the steps involved..
I'm a half-way decent painter, but gee..black is so hard to cover well

A lighter pastel really isnt much more difficult to apply than any lighter color realy, its mostly in the prep although covering the jams and such can be tricky when doing such a drastic color change. It was either mauve or pink and pink soooooo 3 years ago.

Does anyone know of a place to get those suuuuuper flower pedal rims like on the VW's in a 16" rim?

I did a color change on my last truck went from all white to viper blue metallic. It was a pia to tape all the jams and remove the bed, but it looked great when we were done. The only white left was the fire wall.
