Just thought I drop a note to those who tow and get low fuel mileage, about 900 gallons and 7800 miles on the original filter and the truck was a tad sluggish off the line , changed the filter and had a chance to cut open tonight, 90% or more gone on the outside and the inner was all black-:t , at least the fuel should be clean going in the pump/injectors. And I do use Schaefer's soy additive.

what do you get out of the soy additive?

They claim less smoke, more power and better lub of the fuel- plus I grow soy so I like the Idea- note I only add when I filll up at fuel stops, I run b20 9 months out of the year in our tanks, on and off road, about 800 hours on the farm stuff and about 100k on the dmax's since I started- no injector probs on the 01,02 or 03 so I hope thats a good sign.:cool2:
