: 1996 c3500 manual tranny fast idle greene1564 06-12-2010, 10:34 PM I have a 1996 c3500 6.5 TD i installed the pins and the switches to good ground and made sure that everything was connected to the b7 and b8 terminals and now no luck. I have a 5spd manual but I did not see anything specifying automatics on kennedys web site any suggestions would be helpful Bison 06-13-2010, 12:22 AM retrace your wires,you must have done something wrong, 1070 rpm,ground B8 pin 1360 rpm,ground B7 1600 rpm ground both B7 and 8 greene1564 06-13-2010, 12:40 AM I have retraced the wires and everything is hooked up correctly I have a good ground and I have ground all the way to the pins the pins are inserted fuly checked after inserted in plug stil have a good ground swich turns ground on and off so switch and ground are fine checked b7 and b8 locaton 8 times and I have everything in the right spot. Has anyone done this mod on a manual transmission obii truck if so was there any problems?
