Does anyone know exactley how to vacuum test a 6.2? Also do you know what the result numbers are supposed to be?

Yep.
step 1:
Connect a vacuum gage to the vacuum pump inlet. (the lower part)

where applicable disconnect outlet hose from outlet tube on the pump, and plug the end of the hose. dont plug the outlet on the pump.

with engine idling, vacuum should reach 70kPa/21"Hg minimum at sea level withen 30 seconds.

5,000 feet= 18"Hg
10,000 feet= 14"Hg
15,000 feet=12"Hg

if it checks okay, the leak is somewhere else in the system. go to step 2.
low vacuum= bad pump:( .

step 2:
remove the plug from the outlet hose(s) and reconnect same hose to the pump.

reconnect vacumm gage with a tee adapter with the gage located near the pump inlet.

engine idleing vacuum may be 10kPa/3"Hg less then the measured pressure in step 1 after one minute.

checks okay= problems not in the system:o: .
checks low= check for leaks
