I wanted to give everyone the proper part numbers. This is to help anyone who is out of warranty and needs the correct parts. I had to wait 6 days because All Data listed the wrong release bearing. You have to get the entire slave cylinder/actuator kit.

Flywheel 24232434
Flywheel Bolts 97226124
Clutch Kit (pressure plate and clutch) 12582859
Slave Actuator (w/ release bearing) 15019756

You are looking at about $700 in parts not counting shipping and applicable taxes. My stock clutch still looked decent at 109k. I figure it was good for 200k.

Driving impressions:
1. Definitely a little bit of shudder on take off. Feels more like a solid flywheel.
2. Still a kick ass 6 speed!
3. Clutch engages closer to the floor now.. and quicker too! (not sure how to explain that)

Is this a new thing, GM came out with, or who makes the clutch? Is it different from the ones our trucks came with?

1Badmax,
Is this the new/current stock GM clutch/FW, or optional GM parts, or after market parts? If it is the new stock gm, what is the difference from the old one?

All GM parts. Updated flywheel that came out last year. All of the OEM parts are made by LUK.
