i blew a head gasket in my 1982 6.2 and i was wondering how to set the valves when i get it back together? thanks

you cant set them. theyre adjusted by the nature of the hydraulic lifters. there is no adjustment nessesary or possible with this system. how did you manage to loose the gasket? stacks too tall? :p:

those stacks look just right lol theres a ford pwrstrke here with ones that are about 2-3 feet taller i need to get a pic of it its a great laugh

the stacks are shorter now mitre cut about 3 feet lower and i was just driving and it started smoking like a bitch, white smoke.

hopefully the head isnt cracked. have you gotten it apart yet? post some pics when you do.
