An 05 Sportsman 700 just parts is worth twice that. Doesn't even have to be running and yours is running. Shit...I just gave away my hustle.

Check the belt..

just put and new primary clutch and belt on it to fix the chriping noise, now the noise is a like a draging noise dont know how to discribe it but it has great acceleration now... its hard to shift gears though and has this noise, i hate to say this but it almost sounds like a bearing noise in the front end?????front diff.?????

I have the same bike mine makes some noise but i think mine has something to do with the brakes not being clean, have you jacked it up and spun the wheels, just a thought good luck.
