Recieved it today and could'nt get it to work on my truck Censored tried on a gas burner and it worked great, then tried a Snap On reader (MTG2500) on the truck and it worked fine, finally I tried it on a 01 power stroke and it did'nt work there either, e-mailed them and will post when I get an answer.

NP, well he e-mailed and ask if it was hard/soft ware problem, I said since it worked on gas burners but not diesels I believed it was software, waiting for the next reply.
Hey Haulin65, figured there were some more oil burners around here. :cool:

Well I sent him 2 more e-mails and got nothing back, (and yes they were civil) , not asking for money back cause I can still use it on gas burners.
If I EVER hear back I'll post it but not holding my breath.

I was about to buy that same product, thanks for letting me know, because I asked if this will work with Chevy diesel, and I got a 'yes' answer. Maybe if we all apply pressure, he will fix the software to work with the diesel.

Well I gave up on him :mad: and started looking elsewhere, found these guys

and contacted, he told me to download the lite version (free) and try it (his hardware is the same as what I bought)
IT WORKS GREAT :D I'll order the full version when I get back in (work calls tomorrow for a month, no net on a river boat) and start a base line (hp / tor) and keep ya'll posted.
The lite vesion does'nt do all that but I could see rpm, tach, maf readings, water temp, etc, no egr readings, mabey cause it's plugged ;) and it read codes and cleared them (egr 401 & 1409) they came back as expected but I'll fix that in a month.
He also has a version that works on a palm PC, mabey now theres a reason for owning one of them.
