Just wondering, I hear from a marine diesel mec that somewhere in Wyo. a company sells a kit (mounts, electrical, etc.) so a 24v Cummins will work in a late 80's GM diesel Is there such a place?

The company you are thinking of is in Great Falls, MT and they provided me with some guidance when I did my conversion. I am drawing a blank on their name at the moment.

The company that provided me with some help and parts on my conversion, was Auto World. They are located in Great Falls, Mt. While doing a search on the internet I noticed that this business is for sale. The last contact info I have was autoworldmt@montana.com Good luck. For more info, I can answer most of your questions.

Check out this thread on the TDR of my Burb, I would post some pictures here, but I have better luck with wrenches and a welder than with posting pictures.http://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=95125&page=1&pp=15

It's the best of both worlds! I love my 1 1/4 ton, but if it had durable HP and massive torque well big grins Good job Cam

I'm planning on a modifyed 12v in my 67' in the near future.I'm not sure I will or can do the swap myself, but know a local place that has done it before.Where is a good place to get a complete truck for a resonable price?
