Got a new airdogII 165 from alligator performance. Just wondering, but it doesnt look like all the pictures I've seen. There is no fitting on the bottom that you would remove with a WIF wrench, instead it has a screw coming out with a nut that has extensions on it so it can be hand loosened or tightened.... normal? new design? or send it back....

None of the airdogs use a wif wrench on them. I think you are talking about the water drain on the water seperator cartridge. The older style had a larger plastic knob looking drain fitting, the newer ones have a drain fitting that looks more like a wing nut.
