In my 03 I have the bose stereo with the in-dash 6 disc changer. I have noticed that there is a dvd icon inside the illumination screen, is this radio pre-set to hook up a dvd player to it with screen, or is it capable of playing dvd? Also is this radio set up for XM or some other satellite radio? I haven't seen an XM logo anywhere, and I know it wasn't pre-installed on my truck.

I dont know about the dvd part of your question, but i do know that if you have a 'band' button on the lower left hand part of the head unit.....you are XM ready.

That's for the rear entertainment/DVD player that is an option on crew cabs, and SUV's.
