Hey guys, I have just bought a Superchips programmer for my truck and was just wondering if anyone has seen any mpg improvements with their chips/programmers. I know the chip will make driving the truck a lot more fun, I hade the Edge evolution in my old F-350 dually and saw about a 10-15% mpg increase (all hand calculated). Was just wondering if I was going to see any improvements and how much.

If any gain it will be very little from my experience. If you like to play like I do you will lose fuel mileage.

Not likely, I've run both the Predator and currently the Edge and so no improvements in fuel mileage, but I havent seen a real drop either which is the good thing.

Man guys, these aren't the responses I wanted to hear. I was hoping to hear yeah, you will more than likely see a 2-3 mpg increase or such. But I guess we will see what my results are once it gets here sometime this week.

I gained about 1 - 1 1/2 mpg with the Edge, but I drive very conservatively. If you pound the loud peddle, which most want to do since it is so much fun, you can kiss any hope of a gain goodbye . . . with a smile on your face, of course.

I gained about 1-1.5 MPG with the various versions of the Edge, and about the same with The VA...even the 200+ tune. That is IF you drive easy with these programs. When you hammer it you will loose big time. I found it interesting the best I ever got was all highway with the VA set to 200.
