When driving, mainly in top (5th) gear if i hit the brakes my truck will make a whineing noise as it slows down and will stay whineing untill the rpm needle drops back down to where it would be when the truck idles. I always thought no matter what gear if you let off the pedal the rpm needle drops right away, with my truck when i let off the pedal the needle stays right where it was when the pedal was engaged. The truck shifts through all the gears fine never gives me any trouble just wondering if the whine aswell as the needle not dropping is normal Thanks. By the way this is my other truck a 2005 2500HD ccsb BONE STOCK!!
