I just wanted to quickly thank the members of this forum for providing me the information I needed to make a successful and informed purchase. I've been looking at trucks for many months now - I've joined several forums discussing many different brands. After it was all said and done, I'm the PROUD owner of an 05 2500HD, ext cab, short bed, 4x4 - in dark blue metallic. I love the looks of the vehicle. I'm embarrased to say I only have 16 miles on it - but as soon as I post this - I'm out the door. Again, I appreciate the time good folks take out of their day to help newbies like me make good choices!

Cool, go out and drive it! If you spend too much time here, you will spend too much money on your truck. Break it in good and build it better than the factory later.

Nice truck. Have had mine for 3 weeks and already put on 1800 miles. Enjoy.

Congrats have had mine two weeks and have gotten about 1000 miles on it. Love the truck can't wait to tow to see what it handels like compared to my 1500HD I had.
