Call your laon officer:eek:....at that price what is that a $950+ truck payment
At that price you should not have ANY problems like injectors, tranny lines DPF ,urea and so forth......just regular maintainance.....JMHO:)
Shawn-VA 06-03-2010, 02:39 PM DANNNNGGG, Man, 65 MSRP. Hummm, mine loaded up was 54 MSRP and some change. Holly crap batman. So are you saying with discounts you get the truck for 54 or 55 out the door. And don't get me wrong, I like it, just man alot of loot.
Shawn
Shrdlu 06-03-2010, 03:04 PM If it is a GMC, you could plug those items into the online build-your-own configurator as a double-check.
http://www.gmc.com/2011sierra/2500HD/index.jsp
I don't believe the Chevy site has a build-your-own capability.

Dam that's crazy just got off the phone with my salesperson told her that I saw this and what I ordered has a few more options and I didn't wanna pay 70 for a new truck. She is gonna look into it for me,
bobbss 06-03-2010, 04:02 PM Sounds like the dealer added an extra $10,000.00 to the price.
cgreen 06-03-2010, 04:03 PM Thats crazy, my 2006 crew cab 4wd dually stickered out at 47k and thats a LT3 loaded out with everything except a sunroof. My uncle got it for 42k before GM card and rebates. No wonder the older trucks are appreciating. You could just about get two used 06 LBZ's for 1 new LML.
ryanryan 06-03-2010, 04:09 PM There is definitely something wrong there. It is an LT, not a loaded LTZ. I'd be VERY surprised if a loaded LTZ, with leather, dvd player, and navi was that much. If there is no mistakes, I would be calling back and canceling. Go the gmc.com and build your own, with the exact same options. I bet you that truck you listed will be 45k. Of course there could be mistakes on the website, but these new one's are only supposed to be $500 more than an equivalent LMM.
Doodle 06-03-2010, 04:19 PM I was messing around on the GMC site last night and built an 2011 LTZ with the options I wanted and the MSRP was about $1000 more than an 2010. No idea if this pricing will be the pricing when the pickups arrive, but I highly doubt $65K for an LT. Heck a King Ranch F250 Ford is like $60K MSRP.
theunderlord 06-03-2010, 04:23 PM wow. 65K.... go buy an 08 for half that....
wingnut96 06-03-2010, 04:31 PM The SLT GMC dually I built out last night was like $59k. Nav, sunroof but no rear seat entertainment system. Nutz for sure. But hey if they'd give me $30k for mine and a discount so I only would only pay $20k difference, I'd bite. LOL, when monkeys fly outta my arse.
MWDHAND01 06-03-2010, 06:39 PM Wow in Canada I just priced a 2500HD full load (Nav, DVD, leather) and it was $62,000. The prices has surely jumped back up as a yr ago you could get this unit for $52,000.
EKUgrad 06-03-2010, 09:15 PM They won't move many at that pricing given the number of lightly used low mileage recent model year trucks available.
TrevorD 06-03-2010, 10:36 PM I'll be nailing a number down when my salesman gets back in town next week. I'm not gonna be excited for 8 weeks only to get kicked in the jimmy when it comes time to pay. I'll run the wheels off of my LMM before I give $65k or more for a truck that isn't even fully optioned!
bobbss 06-03-2010, 10:51 PM I'll be nailing a number down when my salesman gets back in town next week. I'm not gonna be excited for 8 weeks only to get kicked in the jimmy when it comes time to pay. :agreed:
cdn111 06-03-2010, 10:59 PM i think they are off.. I built a loaded up LTZ 4x4 Dually Crew with EVERYTHING they could put on it and it barely tipped over 60k. Still a ton of cash but I'm about 100% sure you won't be able to get a chevy over 61k
03LB-7dmax 06-03-2010, 11:32 PM  now I know why 06 and 07 duramax's around here< sky rocketed in price.
Micheal Tomac 06-03-2010, 11:52 PM Is that 65k in Canada?
heavybrewster 06-04-2010, 12:14 AM Hey guys,
Sorry for the late reply, i am in Canada. My salesman called back today and i said i wanted sunroof and park assist. He gave me a price later on in the day for this truck with the added items for $55,330. The initial price was MSRP.... He said there are about $10,000 in rebates on the vehicle. I have a friend who bought a new Sierra LTD loaded without nav for around $55,000 last year. If they can get to that price with the 2011, i am definetly in. For this truck i think i will commit at $52,000.
ryanryan 06-04-2010, 12:37 AM Hey guys,

Huh..........I found a similar truck to mine in Canada, and it stickered for $68,000:eek:. The one I ended up buying was $42,000 out the door, from the US. If your right on the prices, maybe I'll consider getting one in Canada.
Edit: Hold the phone....are you saying $55,000 minus the 10k in rebates, or does the $55,000 already have the rebates deducted from it?
desert racer 06-06-2010, 12:47 AM Think he is saying $55k after rebates? Max I will spend is $45k and that is for a fully loaded rig, very possible in the states!
maxxco 06-06-2010, 12:13 PM you guys should come to canada 78,000 for a new 3500 crewcab loaded
trx-1noob 06-06-2010, 12:38 PM you guys should come to canada 78,000 for a new 3500 crewcab loaded
gmc is up there now?? I drove a new ford(shhhh) and they were priced out at 78000. whatta joke this it turning into. Priced out a loaded 2010 with everything but nav, and with rebates it came to around 53000. not including gm visa card rebates either.
bayoubengal 06-06-2010, 04:47 PM I just went to the Edmunds site and built a 3500 LTZ SRW Ext Cab 2wd D/A and checked every option offered. MSRP $55,420; Dealer Invoice $50,871. They also showed a $1,500 rebate for June.
Shrdlu 06-06-2010, 05:03 PM Just a thought. Cross-check the prices of the options with those of the 2500HD on the GM site. Edmunds originally posted its prices weeks before GM did just on Tuesday, and I recall one poster on this site saying at the time that the Edmunds prices were the same as in 2010.
This suggests the question: Could Edmunds have slotted in the 2010 prices as a place-holder until they got the actual 2011 ones? Also, a rebate this soon sounds unusual.
bayoubengal 06-06-2010, 07:02 PM Edmunds shows the option prices as the same as 2010 but the base price of the vehicle is higher.
LtEng5 06-06-2010, 10:33 PM GMC SL CCDRW, mid grade, cloth, captains chairs, BOSE 6 disc ( no NAV ), DMax, 5th wheel towing package, ==== $54,840 delivered
Pricing per GMC web site...built it last night
heavybrewster 06-09-2010, 11:20 AM Yup, damn expensive trucks. And considering the interest rate of 7%, the truck payment would officially be twice the amount of my mortgage payment. I am waiting to see what the summer brings. I have a Avalanche that comes off lease in September and that is when i will squeeze the trigger. Alternatively, i will buy used for a couple of years and see what comes out down the road.
TrevorD 06-09-2010, 11:18 PM FYI, I put a deposit on a red/ebony LTZ 2500HD CCSB today with nav, 4WD, D/A combo, convenience pkg., LTZ plus pkg., back-up camera, and a few other small items. The sticker on it is right at $56,200.

Are you paying sticker? Or did you negotiate a price yet?
TrevorD 06-10-2010, 08:25 AM We're right at $4000 off of sticker.
SLT223 06-10-2010, 10:49 PM They won't move many at that pricing given the number of lightly used low mileage recent model year trucks available.
I agree. The success of the Duramax over the years has certaintly created a large second hand market of very good used trucks.
Maine Towing 06-11-2010, 02:00 AM And to think I paid $45K for my first house that was on 19 acres of lakefront property 15 years ago. It sure would be nice to have a brand new fancy truck, but my 2000 which now has a 6.2 in it gets me, the wife, the dogs, and a 4 horse loaded trailer any place I want to go, at 70 MPH -- just my $.02
TrevorD 06-11-2010, 11:59 PM I did confirm that the $1500 rebate will apply to the 2011's, and it will be in addition to supplier pricing.
The used Dmax market is very strong! I have my '08 LTZ 4WD CCSB sold for $35500 as it sits with all of the mods with 70k on the clock. I bought it in January '08 with a $5000 rebate and additional dealer pricing for $42k! The sticker was $50,5xx. I think a Dmax truck is one of the best vehicles to own for resale value.

Can't say what's happening in the U.S. but I do know that discounts from GM are offered by Postal Code.(Same as Canada) If discounts are from GM directly then I guess they would be offered across the country, however a bunch of county (Or State) dealers sometimes get together and offer extra discounts. I don't know about the rest of Canada but here in BC, GM is offering a $5000 rebate, plus a $1000 customer loyalty discount as well on a 2011 Silverado.

TrevorD 06-29-2010, 08:29 AM My truck lists for $56999, and supplier price kicks it down to $53126. Then there's another $1500 rebate that takes it down to right at $51626. I'm happy with the deal.

I'm really curious as to the selling price. If it has a MSRP of 80K, the best price I can see you getting might be in the mid to high 60's. The 2011 diesel trucks have about a $5K increase over the 2010's according to the fleet manager at Carter North Shore. Keep me posted on this.
richterscale 06-29-2010, 01:38 PM 2011 Duramax had no price increase--the hd line increased @ 300-400 overall if I remember correctly.
Aprilwine 06-29-2010, 02:45 PM 2011 Duramax had no price increase--the hd line increased @ 300-400 overall if I remember correctly.
I've also heard the 2011 GM price increase was around 1% (About $300-$400) but the Canadian pricing and the Diesel option in 2010 was $7170.00 and the Allison was $1445.00. In 2011 I was told the Dmax is over 9K and the Ally is close to 2K. I guess I was a little high on the $5K price, Sorry, It should be closer to a $3k increase. I'd better learn how to add or check with the dealer to make sure I got my numbers right. I would find it funny the Dmax/Allison price would increase in Canada but not in the U.S., however you never know. We just get raped up here for vehicle prices. It seems that every Dealer you talk to has a different version as to how much of an increase there are on the new trucks.
heavybrewster 07-10-2010, 12:49 AM Bought is this week. Stickered at 66,000 and paid 53,000 plus taxes. Got a 6.9 interest rate for many, many months...
woodchuckcanuck 07-10-2010, 08:38 AM Just to back up what heavybrewster is saying from Canada's heartland, here is the build sheet from the dealer as of yesterday, $68,060.00 plus 15% sales tax. Obviously I'm not going to pay sticker price. Based on the Canuck intel from this board, BC'ers are getting base $5G incentive, then there's the $1G loyalty credit and if you press the dealer for it, there is the $1,500 exterior addons like bug sheild, vent visors, running boards, bed liner or take a $750 discount. I'm not sure for that last option which is the better deal.

Not any more. BC'ers are now only getting employee pricing and $2500 off of that, plus a $1000 loyalty discount which comes off after you pay the purchase price plus the taxes(12% HST) and 0% financing for 60 months. I'm not sure about the other stuff you mentioned. Based on that $68,060 MSRP you should be able to get that truck for around the $56K mark but only if you take delivery by the end of August, after that the price changes depending on the incentives being offered by GM after that date.:)
woodchuckcanuck 07-10-2010, 04:43 PM Well $2500 off won't be enough incentive for me to spend that much on a new truck. I can afford to wait if necessary, or, shop elsewhere. I still might pay cash for the truck but with 0% financing, I might just to that and have them take our the payment on teh credit card. That way I get 2% back. :D
clarkely 07-14-2010, 01:03 PM Mine stickered at $55,269.00, i ended up not using the supplier certificate because it will net me out 272.00 better......
They discounted it to me to 51,622.00 then 1500.00 rebate off of that...... and since i did not use the certificate and am putting in business name..... they can get me 500.00 accessory credit.........
So 49,622.00 including the accessory credit.
I am Happy :)

clarkely 07-14-2010, 09:26 PM Clarkely, Is your truck an LT or LTZ? Are those camper style mirrors standard?
LT, camper mirrors, rear sliding window, leather seating on split bench, back up sensor, rear view camera, bluetooth, roof markers, exterior protection package.......all goodies except Nav and sunroof.
bayoubengal 07-14-2010, 09:33 PM So you're saying that the extendable camper mirrors are an option?
bobbss 07-14-2010, 10:57 PM So you're saying that the extendable camper mirrors are an option?
Yes they are, even on a LTZ,it is still an option.$55.00 on LTZ.
TrevorD 07-16-2010, 11:50 PM Yep, they charge a whopping $55 for the camper mirrors. I miss the power folding mirrors on my '08, but the camper mirrors are worth their weight in gold when you're hooked up to a trailer!
Bavanew 07-23-2010, 06:51 PM Not any more. We all know how GM responds when Canadians try to purchase a new vehicle in the U.S.
Do any of those BC incentives and finance rates apply to someone from Ontario?
So far no deals in Ontario! They advertise employee pricing, but that's only for 2010 models.
woodchuckcanuck 07-23-2010, 07:11 PM Bavanew,
I don't think GM will have much of a choice but to offer the same incentives as Ford is offering, which I believe is $10G off. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I understand the dealer cannot offer what GM does not put on the table, but I'm willing to wait. I'm currently "truckless" so I'm hoping its not going to be too long. Otherwise I might get impatient and go elsewhere.

My order papers state : Mirrors, outside heated power-adjustable vertical camper manual folding and extension, black includes integrated turn signal indicators consisting of 50 square inch flat mirror surface positioned over 20square inch convex mirror surface with a common head and lower convex spotter glass (convex glass is not heated or power adjustable)
This is on the "Exterior" vehicle details page as standard equipment for the CC LTZ.
So I didn't pay 55.00 for it (directly anyways)
Maybe it's different because it's a dually?
Bavanew 07-24-2010, 02:05 PM Bavanew,

I just came back from a local Ford dealer just to see what their incentives are all bout....The dealer was closed, but there was quite a few 2011's on the lot with employee discount stickers on the windshields. Also, no delivery fee! One truck had a MSRP for $76,000.00 and the total discount came to $13,500.00.
So far, that's much better than what the local chevy dealer has for the 2011's, because they have no incentives.....

Not true in BC. We get employeee pricing on the 2011's plus $2500.00 off of that. On the 2010's we get employee pricing plus an extra $8000.00 off for a total of about $14,000.00 on a 2010 and about $11,000 on a 2011. Keep in mind the cost of the 2011's, from what I've been told has gone up about 1% and the Dmax/Allison has increased about $2500.00. Only in Canada, Eh

And yes, only in CA, eh!
heavybrewster 07-24-2010, 07:15 PM I ordered mine last week. 2011 LT with leather, all towing options, dual climate, exteriour and interiour packages and a few other options. Totalled for $53,000 and taxes.

That's interesting, I thought Employee Pricing was right across Canada? However, I'm not surprised because we get raped for anything automotive up here.

They have employee pricing in ontario, but it applies to the 2010 vehicles, as per my dealer!

Ah, I see. We get employee pricing on 2011's as well only they give you an extra $2500.00 on the 2011's instead of the $8000.00 they give you on the 2010's. The catch on the deal for the 2011's is that you have to take delivery before Aug,31 which is pretty tough considering it's about 90 days for a factory order and this promotion is only good for July and Aug. You might get lucky and find a 2011 on a dealers lot but will it have the options you want?
