There are temp parameters where adaptive shifting is disabled.. although these temps are not real common (like below 5 deg trans temp it's disabled). When adaptive shifting is disabled, does pressure go to 100%?
Reason I ask is this:
I am constantly flashing my truck making some tweaks and changes... I am under the impression every time I flash it (including the TCM, often times I'm changing shift rpm's and mph's to get things just right) that I need to let the trans do some re-learning... it takes time to do this before I feel comfortable doing any high throttle shifting.
Could a person disable the adaptive shifting so that the trans is ready to make a WOT upshift? (does turning it off place the trans in a more "aggressive" state so to speak? just wondering....
Thanks,
Todd
