What is the max boost one would see from the stock gm turbos if the waste gate is fouled open?

If you put an adjustable spring and flash/fooler you can see 21 psi on a cold day. odee 07-10-2005, 11:43 PM So if one puts a constant vaccum on the pod for the waste gate would it be open or closed? I have just gotten my engine running on a diesel swap into my truck. I was told to put a full vaccum on this till I get something made like the heath turbo master or buy one. quantum mechanic 07-11-2005, 12:05 AM vacuum/spring tension closes the waste gate. Don't feel bad I couldn't visualize it so I took mine apart and took pictures of it for all to see about a year ago. | ||
