I am looking to install an after market hitch. Many people say the stock hitch is weak. I would like to install a hitch that fits and forms like the stock hitch. I like the way it tucks up under the truck. I really don't want a big square tube hanging down under the bumper. I found the Class V Hidden hitch looks stock. Has anyone installed one of these? Does it look like the stock hitch? Will a Class V handle anything I could pull?

I installed the big Drawtite, not the Hidden Hitch. Thr drawtite appears to be designed much stouter, and actually fits better, and closer to the bottom of the bumper than the factory hitch did. It tows MUCH better now also.

I installed the Reese Titan V on my 03. The centerline of the receiver is 4" below the centerline of the bumper. I needed this hitch in order to use an extended 2.5" drawbar to get behind my 11' camper. This setup with the Equal-i-zer hitch allows me to carry my 700# tounge weight boat with no problems.

I know this might be asking a bit much, but could you guys post a picture of the installed hitch so I can see how it looks installed?

Thanks again,

Also so you know Draw-Tite, Reese, and Hidden Hitch are all the same company... Cequent Towing. There is a few minor differences in the hitches but mainly just the finish and sticker on it. The p/n for the 10000 lb Draw-Tite is 41928 . The p/n for the Titan Hitch also known as Towbeast for Draw-Tite and Reese is 45016. The only thing about that hitch is it is a 2.5 inch receiver tube not 2 inch. To use a 2 inch mount you would need a 58102 adapter sleeve.
