Im getting ready to pull the trigger on EFI Live and have a few questions. I just looked for a few days and i cant find awnsers anywhere.

Is there a limit to the number of licenses you can have? I would not be interested in streams but may want to tune as many as 15-20 trucks in different generations.

Can you run the EFI software on two diferent computers? I would like to use the 24" monitor on my desk to edit tunes, but would like to use a small 10" netbook to actually flash the truck. Is this allowed, or should I just use my 17" laptop for everything?

I want to get a seperate ECM and save my stock ECM for if I ever screw up and brick it. If I buy an ECM can I read my stock tune, switch ECMs and program the new ECM without using more than one license, or does reading and writing both use a license?

I think that one V2 can store up to 200 and something licenses. And the only time you use licenses is in writting you can read ecm's as much as you like. And yes you can use it on two computers.

Each FlashScan V2 has the ability to hold 221 licenses. That's 221 ECM's and 221 TCM's

Yes - install EFILive on as many computers as you wish. To exit demo mode, you'll either need to enter the registration details on the blue card when you purchase FlashScan or have the FlashScan plugged into the PC.

Reading doesn't use a license, it's flashing that uses the license. So you can read your spare ECM and save the file, however if you flash it you'll use a license. If it's a spare and stock, you should have no need to flash it anyway.

Hope this helps
