my right turn signal is dead at the factory trailer light plug under the spare tire but the truck (rear,front,inst.panel) still works normal. so where does the trailer harness get it's power from?
I spent about an hour troubleshooting the trailer wireing only to find I'm not getting any power from the darn truck.:help2:

Have you checked the trailer right-turn fuse in the box under the hood?

I had problems with mine early on.

The wire loom makes an right angle turn @ the plug and is ty-tyed tight.

I disassembled the wiring/plug and reassembled less tight, works OK now.

Hope this helps.

Could also be a fuse.

I just checked the fuse, yes it is blown. I never would have guessed DA MAX had a seprate fuse for the trailer turn sig.
I'm new to this "good life" towing stuff, just upgraded from a 1981 chev gasser.
