I have an ’07 Classic and I added a tire pressure monitoring system a couple of months back. I’ve had it plugged into one of the accessory ports, but between the GPS and cell phone charger I have 3 devices and only two plugs. I’m swapping out my stock radio for a new video/navigation unit and while I was putting it in I came across the plug in the attached pictures. I’m wondering if anyone knows what it’s for? It appears to have switched 12V when the key is on and running. Ideally I could find the male plug and make a pigtail for the TPMS, but I first need to know what I’m looking at. Any help would be appreciated . . . thanks!

I don't have my GM manual with me now, but as far as I know the only stuff that would be there is the passenger airbag keyswitch, a switch for overhead flashing lights (like for plowing) and a switch for a rear window slider.

PTO as in "power take-off"? If so, I'm guessing finding the male end of the connector is going to be pretty hard.

I'm guessing I can tap into "A" or "C" for power and "F" for ground?

Thanks for taking the time to look this up . . . I really appreciate it!

Yes, I'm thinking it was for the power take-off option. If the colors I listed match what you have (I could only see a few wire colors in your picture) then that is what the connector is.

I would probably use A for power and yes, F for ground.

Ya, looks like the PTO Connector to me too.

See pages C-29 and C-30 for the connector, model number, GM number, and pin number.
See pages A-1 to A-19 for various PTO, (or Fast Idle), info.

Insert "PTO" in the "FIND" in link below to find more info.

It is basically an extra "driveshaft" that comes off of the transmission that you can use for... anything. Water pumps, raising and lowering a dump bed, a winch.. things like that.

If you want to find the mating plug look for the part number on the upfitter guide posted above, then paste that part number into www.mouser.com. If it finds it then most likely they carry the mate as well. Click on the link to the delphi specs and you should get a list of related parts and the mate will be there. You'll have to find the plug housing, pins, and lock, each part is sold separate.
