I've got a question about the prewired 7 prong trailer connector. I was wiring up a cargo trailer that has interior lights in it. The 7 prong connector on the truck has a 'auxillary' and a 'batt charge' prong but neither has power to them when the key is on. Is that normal? The only way I could get power to the inside light on the trailer was to use the 'clearance lights/tail light' prong (green). And then you have to have the lights on in the truck to get power to that prong. Is it normal to not have power in the 'auxillary' and 'batt charge' prongs?

You have to insert a green 40 amp fuse in place of a plastic red B+ plug thats in place in the fuse box thats under the hood.
It will be in the left upper corner when you look at the fuse box from the drivers fender.

That will get you power to the Batt charge pin on the plug.

Mine was under those white stickers placed throughout the truck, found exactly at the description above! Installed the fuse just today!

Thanks DD, nice to have people around to volunteer information like this.

DD, I got the fuse today and now have power at the Batt pin. Does that fuse power up anything else other than the trailer pin. Thanks Howard

I don't think so, I haven't heard of anything else running off of that circuit, except if you also have the Camper wiring harness, then I would think that Batt + wire gets energized too.
