Just got the EGT installed today, was amazed that I could peg 1300 taking off unloaded (getting on it pretty good). Assume that's normal, got the hypertech at level 2 ?? After the last trip pulling the 5er the wife said the floor was getting kinda hot so I backed off and it cooled down so being as that scared me the EGT is now installed and ready for the next trip. CO mountains are next so will be watching closely.
