Ok i'm done with the performance mods. And decided it's time to do a cognito leveing kit. Cuz i don't wanna go crazy with a lift and i still need to be able to use my snow plow. At first i was gonna go with a 305/70/17 goodyear mt/r. Which is supposed to come out to be 34"'s but i think i'm gonna go with a 35. What will i be gettin myself into on this. With my 285's on there now i have some room to go bigger. And for 35" s will i need to do anything to the back. And on wheels will a wheel with 5 inch backspacing work with the cognito kit. I'm just goin from wheels on 4 wheel parts. I'll die before i buy anything from them i was just gettin an idea of wheel choices. Any input would be great.

5" of backspacing on an 8.5" wide rim maximum with 35's would work great with the Cognito leveling kit. You may have to do a bit of trimming so it that scares you, it's best to run a 33" tire, No trimming will be needed.

Do a search on "cognito leveling kit", it should answer your ?'s

i'm already running a 33 no rubbing at all i think it's cuz it's an 02. But i'm not afraid to do alittle trimming.

What rims are you looking at? Weld EVO rims? I think I may go to them in a couple years........when the H2 rim thing gets old:eek: I haven't seen anyone around here that has them yet. I have people give good comments on the wheels all the time not knowing what they are ):h ):h They think my tires are 33's too):h ):h

i was gonna go with micky thompson classics. I would go with welds but they cost alot of $$. And i can get a decnet price on the micky thompson. For 35's am i gonna have to go with blocks or add-leafs in the back?

On Friday I had the Cognito kit installed (Including the Bilsteins and new keys). The truck sits pretty level and looks much better than stock. I have 285/75/16 Bridgestone Dueler Revo's mounted on Weld Velocity 16x8's. IMO 285's are the perfect match for a leveled truck. By the way, I still had to do some minor trimming on the lower front bumper.

For the back you don't need anything to fit the tire, but if you want it to sit level or with a slight rake for towing then you will want an aal or a block. I put 2 inch blocks on mine and it sits about perfect. Pics to follow when I take them...

Also, many 315s don't measure out to a true 35. I'll check again tomorrow but mine are only 34 something I think. My 285s were only just over 32...
