When I had my alignment done, the mech told me that I needed to replace the lower ball joints, pitman and idler arm.

My steering is loose and when i brake, it will dart left or right sometimes, not out of control, just annoying.

Anyway, is there a kit for doing all of this, or should I put the parts together from Napa or from the dealer.

Anything else I need to think about replacing when I'm in there?

thanks

To the best of my knowledge, you just have to buy em separate. I would go with Moog, but that's just me. I'd prolly look into replacing the outer tie rod ends as well if you haven't done so already.

so I had a friend turn the steering wheel back and forth and with a bunch of play, watched the pitman arm, and it did not move. So is my steering box going bad?

it looks like I have a couple options, stamped MOOG Part # K6477 45.79mm or forged MOOG Part # K6509 47.89mm

Which do I need?

I would order K6447 - idler arm and K6335 - pitman arm

Those are for the truck in your signature.

cool thanks, last question, any specific press I should get, there are a few on ebay that seem to be reasonable.
