: Uneven Torsion Adjustments - Normal?

Is it normal to have a wide variance of settings between the right and left torsion keys? I just had some front end suspension work done (Cognito Leveling kit) and there is a wide variance between the two sides. However, the truck does appear to be even. Is this normal or should both sides have the same number of turns?

I think you'll find that most trucks don't sit level (side to side) from the factory and it has been reported my many who turn up the torsion bars, myself included. Therefore, it will require more turns on one side than the other to get it even. I believe that the drivers side typically hangs lower than the pass.

Think about it for a sec...

Drivers side has driver and fuel tank. That side will be set "higher" because of the extra weight.

The driver side on my truck has more turns on the torsion bar than the passenger side. I've had other IFS trucks with torsion bar front suspension and they're never the same. You should have to worry about it. Minn-Kota and Thebac are right. Just having the driver only in the truck will lower it as well.

my truck is stock height. drivers side adjuster only has about 3 turns left in it. dealer leveled the truck side to side at stock height under warranty at 5k miles. truck has 46k now... i want to turn the bars up a little but i'm out of adjustment. ive considered green keys, or just leave it alone for drag racing purposes.

and having it lower on the driver side will help it to sit more level because the crown of the road is on the drivers side
