Does anyone know what that bracket bolted to the frame crossmember is?
It is the rear crossmember and the bracket is located just on the passanger side above the driveline.

Assuming you have a Chev/GMC with a 1 piece drive shaft the bracket might be for a Carrier bearing support if you had a 2 piece drive shaft. Mine is.
