You get could get a DPF back exhaust to get rid of the ugly exhaust and stay legal, but you will have no gains or any other results.

Turboback is the best option, it gets rid of the Cat, DPF, and muffler, but is technically illegal and requires tuning to get rid of the codes.

I needed to keep the DPF and all that due to warranty concerns, but I really disliked the way the stock exhaust looked, so I ended up going with a Banks single outlet Monster Exhaust. While there are no gains (and I knew this before buying), it looks a TON better. There are some pictures in my garage, or I can post some better ones if you like.

The stock exhaust is a real PITA to remove without cutting, but it can be done without a lift. I had to lift the rear end and remove the spare, but I was able to remove the OEM exhaust without cutting (but not without some cussing!). It's now sitting comfortably in my attic if I ever need it again. :)

The Banks exhaust installs easily, but I wish they used better clamps. I'm thinking of just welding the slip fits to make it a single piece exhaust, but I just don't have time to do it right now. The nice thing about the slip fits is that you can position the exhaust exactly where you want it. You'll need to snug the C-clamps down some so that the exhaust will hold its position while you torque them. Follow the torque guidelines in the manual. It'll allow you to get the clamps tight enough to prevent slippage but not so tight that you crush the tubing. Overall, I'm VERY happy with the exhaust. It looks 1000X better than the OEM exhaust. Sound is about the same despite the fact that the Banks does not include a muffler like OEM. No drone at highway speeds on mine, either empty or towing.

I went with an MBRP stainless DPF back. No change in sound or performance, but it sure looks better. Did it without any cutting so I can put it back stock anytime.

If you want to stay within warranty DPF back is the only way to go, otherwise turbo back is the best way to go for looks, sound, and performance. But if you do a turbo back you will also have to buy a programmer to delete the DPF. I have a MBRP turbo back on my and love it.

Look into the Banks single or dual exhaust. I have side by side pictures and the MBRP in may garage. The MBRP got way too hot so I went with the Banks.
