Will mobil 424 work in an allison 1000 i have a 2006 LBZ with the 6 speed ally with 68K on her and i can get the 424 cheep from work if it'll work...

According to Mobil, 424 is for Allison agricultural applications ONLY.

Its a C-4 ONLY rated fluid, which is an obsolete rating. It is a hydraulic fluid not for use in modern automatic trans. A note on Mobils specs says, "Suitable for commercial transmission applications requiring Type A (Suffix A), Dexron and Type F fluids. Do not use in passenger car automatic transmissions"
