I recently installed an edge juice chip with an attitude monitor I drilled and Tapped the EGT guage as well as triple checking all the wiring connections and the chip still does not seem to be functioning. Any Ideas?

when you say "chip is still not functioning" what exactly do you mean?
do you mean the display of the attitude? or the actual edge box is not working?

give us a little more info so we can help...

new, used?

all of the displays work (Boost,EGT,RPM, and what not) But there is no noticable power increase.

allford69 - Good luck with the edge and we'll see you at the trans shop in a few thousand miles!

Seriously, I'd return or sell the edge right now before you need the clutches in your torqueshift replaced and get the SCT tunes from Innovative Diesel or Tadd over at ATS.

Don't expect your trans to shift properly or live a long life if you run the edge!

Can you explain why the Edge will ruin a transmission in a few thousand miles? I don't want to hurt my trans., since I have been running the Edge Juice for the past 35,000 miles with no trouble.

The Ford don't have the protection the Allison in GM trucks has. The higher hp settings on the Edge will destroy both ford and gm trans over time. It just takes less time in a Ford because they don't have "smart" trans like the Allison.

The SCT has trans tunes built into the ECM on the Ford to raise psi in the trans and keep the clutch packs from slipping. This should help extend the life of the Ford trans, but I don't think it will work. The best bet is to mod the trans. starting with a new tq converter. Maybe the Ford guys can tell you more.

A 6.0 with the Edge set to the higher levels will shift terrible. I know of at least one 04 theat ran the Edge/Attitude for approx. 20k mi and when the TS recall was performed the tech found some clutches were burnt and needed relpacing even though it shifted "ok"(by edge standards) on the lower levels. He did not beat on it or run the higher levels much because at the higher levels never did shift cleanly. After the recall and rebuild we installed the SCT tunes by Innovative and we noticed a major improvement in shift quality, power and EGTs.

His Edge box is now for sale.

Your warranty isn't in danger simply because you installed the Juice! You MAY however run into some difficulties because of the EGT sensor install.
