Had it all the way back/open tonite, as I drove up, tried to close it, it comes forward, but stops and the rear of the window wont come down and seal. Any suggestions? Have tried it 20 times, it goes back, goes forward, but the rear wont come down like it should to seal.

Moving to LLY section as this is not a "Truck Down/Emergencies ONLY!"

may not be down but id say its a fairly decent emergency with the possibilty of the interior of my truck getting soaked and possibly frying electronics/ruining the interior.

I don't want you to feel bad 'Horn but that is the exact reason I declined the option......

Yeah, I'd say that could be an emergency, esp if you are in the path of Dennis!

Have you checked the track for any obstructions?

Tried helping it along..maybe push down on it a little as someone tries to shut it with the switch?

Maybe pull a fuse on it to maybe reset it?

Ida know, just throwing out some options I'd try.

Look in your owners manual as well. Some vehicles have a procedure to override the sunroof if it has been blocked while trying to close.

geez, alright got it closed finally. You hold it to close it, then have to let go for like 1 or 2 secs, then hold it down again and it finally closes. Thats the stupidest way to close a sunroof ive ever seen.......

Mine has done the same thing twice. The first time, i messed with it probably 10 times, and it wouldn't close. Finally, when it was on it's way forward, i "helped" it, with some force, and it went closed.

Did it again, and "helping" it didn't help. Finally closed after some more screwing around.

Annoying, especially for $1200...Censored

Well, GM's "fishtail" design certainly isn't the brightest design either, considering all they had to do was borrow the friggin' Tahoe/Suburban/Avalanche design, since the rooflines are so similar.

Anyone know if the Sunroof Shade can be replaced with a solid type. The screen lets too much light in during the middle of the day.

I thought about having it tinted when I have the rest of the windows done darker :grd:
