Trade you seats ;) Alaska gets cold and I wouldn't mind the heated seat.

I have a 2005 Sierra and the seater heater come on automatically also. Of course it is intermittent like most problems. I am sure I am not hitting the switch while getting into the truck.
Mine does it too .
I might hit it though,
But i dont think so
I looked under the seat to many wires to trace downCensored

Ok Troops it took two trys at the Dealer to get it fixed:exactly: Here is waht they did. 1st time they reprogramed the seat module. $33.73 charge because it was under the $100.oo deductable for the
extended warranty:mad: . A week later the seat starts turning on and off again by itself. I rolled right back into the service bay, left the truck running, and got the service writer who then went and got the technician who worked on it. :grd: He hooked up the Tech 2 and said this is funny):h The Tech 2 says the circut is off but the lights are going on and off and the seat is getting hot:eek: . So I was going on Vacation and left the truck for a week and when I got home they had replaced the seat
module. :cool2:
As a side note they charged me the $100.00 deductable but when I asked about the previous bill he took that off the deductable.):h
Great guy and a good Dealership :muahaha:

Same problem, two trips to the dealer. Replaced some module the second time. No further problem. I like the automatic heated seats in the winter, but come summer it was a pain in the @ss. Really.

Had a big lightning storm last night, drive to store today and driver side heated seat starts cycling. Had this problem about 50K miles ago and dealer replaced/reprogrammed seat module. I thought this problem was under control. Obviously I don't get paid to think. This gets added to the door lock problem, back doors still won't unlock with the switches or the key fob. Starting to believe that Motorola should stick to cell phones as they make the door modules. over, time to let blood pressure go down before the game. Go CHIEFS!!
