I just recently purchased an edge evolution (diesel) cts. I am very pleased with the preformance of my truck however, with the progammer when i accelerate hard the truck I believe is de-fueling. Is there an adjustment I can do with the menu features on the programmer that will prevent this from happening ? Thanks

I believe they still have the standard defuel on the truck to save your tranny. On the hot upgrade it is off I believe. Level 5 on an off note is a nice mileage tune to worth the $100 upgrade fee.

please excuse my ignorance. But you believe that i can purchase another level for my programmer ?? And it may solve this problem

i wish these things had settings like the juice with low boost fueling 1-5 setting and choose the defuel or not....maby then i could get this thing to run smokeless on level 2, on my old lb7 i could run level 5 without any smoke with low boost fueling set on 1. These edge races must be designed to dump fuel in at low boost, 50 additional hp shouldnt cause smoke.

Not sure if that will solve your exact problem or not. I would give edge a call. I think they have the hot unlock on sale for $50. You get level 5, 6 & 7.

just spoke with edge. They do not offer any more level's "at this time" for my unit, however this could be in the future. Question, will running level 4 (extreme ) hurt my truck? I have made some mods with the exhaust & CAI. Please understand that I do not run my truck hard however I am very impressed with the truck's response on level 4 compared to the lower settings.

I did not look at your signature. I thought you had an evolution not an evolution CTS from your question. I am sure they will be coming out with that for the hot unlock to..

Just got one also, i would like to hear the answer to this one also. Also any big mpg difference?

Just heard that Edge might not be coming out with the hot tunes on the Cts like they did with the old evolution. Regulations are starting to make things more difficult for companies. :(
