Just came back from a 5k trip without any problems. Cleaned my coolers up front (A/C, IC etc.) with low pressure water hose to remove all the bugs...
Today the A/C is dead, compressor wont come on at all.

Is that sensor in front of the cooler that sensitive to moisture or just coincidence? I checked all the fuses (found 2) and swapped the relais for the compressor just in case. I checked all connections and reinserted them - still the compressor won't come on.

Anything else I could check before the dealer visit?

Thanks :help:

I thought the sensor up front was the outside air temp

Does this sensor has anything to do with the A/C function?

Thanks!

It does if you have the automatic temperature unit. If the temp is too low, it will not kick on the ac compressor.

Have the Auto A/C on my truck. Temp is NOT too low this time 95 +/- F.

Seems like it works again! Compressor just came back to live after sitting for a few hours....don't know whats wrong with that truck, maybe the evaporator was frozen?

Thanks everybody!
