Every morning when I go out to the truck I have to push the mirror back in. It slides out about 1/4" each day driving to and from work.
Is there an adjustment on the mirror to add more tension?

I don't think there is an adjustment. Maybe put a small self tapping screw in the bottom of one of the arms and paint it black? That might work.

That would work but I don't like the idea of removing the screw everytime I need to extend it.
Maybe I can get them to replace it under my extended warranty...?

I wouldnt think they would warranty that, but you could try.
You could use the screw idea but instead of self tapping just drill a hole for a thumb screw. screwing the thumb screw in should allow you to place tension on the slide at any point of the slide without actually drilling through both pieces. Then you could back it off a turn, pull the mirror out, and screw it back in

My does the same thing. I like the screw idea, but wish there was a fix without drilling holes.

I'm sure Premis' idea would work but I would also like to avoid a hole. Maybe I should just learn to live with it.

Extend them out and be done w/ it.
(had you got a dually, you wouldn't look like a tool w/ the mirrors out and no trailer http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f192/DRAGOONRANCH/GIFS/chairfall.gif )

Drill a 3/16 hole into the stationary arm about 3/4 inch from the door end and fill with silicone leaving a small knob protruding from the arm, after drying should snub the arms enough to keep them from sliding on there own.

Boy! Mine are so tight I have to hold on to something to get leverage to extend them. I honestly thought there was some sort of flat spring or some such thing to keep pressure on the slide so the wind wouldn't effect them.

That's a great idea! The hole is not visible and the silocone should provide enough resistance to keep the mirror from sliding out.

Mine are as tight as diesel geezers!
