Thought only the LLY's threw codes when the cat is deleted.

Removing the cat on my '04 LB7 did not throw any codes, but blocking the EGR did.

the LB7 does not have a cat. I do believe it has a resonator though. You should not throw any codes by pulling the resonator out. You will throw codes on an LLY when you pull the cat out. I did, but I was able to clear them on my power up pup.

Hmmm........, so why on earth would GM put exhaust gas recirculation in my LB7 if it has a "resonator", & not a catalytic converter?:rolleyes:
