I had just found a little blob of Censored tree sap on my hood, its been in the mid 90's here and my truck is black, so this sap was rock hard dry, anyway, I carefully scraped the sh!t off and cleaned it , and now it looks like the paint has raised up or bubbled up a little bit in that area, any ideas on how to fix it?

This happened to my old truck a couple of years ago. The paint started chipping real bad, so I took it in and showed my dealer. I didn't mention it was from sap. They said that it must be some paint defect, and they painted my entire hood free of charge for me.

Try putting some rubbing alcohol on a soft cloth and rubbing it on the spot. This has worked very well for me. No need to scrape first, the alcohol will remove it all.

to remove hardened sap, use WD40. spray it on and let it sit for a while. Works killer.
