Waiting for my 05 DMAX to show up at the stealer.... any day now and I can't wait!
I've been doing a lot of research on this site (great site btw) and it seems no one favors the Bully Dog products. I was going to get the either the rapid power module or the dyno dominator w/ outlook monitor b/c it allows for tire size changes and removes speed limiter.... but after reading and doing some searches it seems many have had problems w/ BD.
Is the Edge Juice or Granatelli Big G a better set-up?

alvaHD,
Their Power Pups are sort of new on the market as compared to some of the old stand bys. We have been selling them for a while and so far customer response has been very good, we also sell the Edge and it is still the fastest mover out there as far as the number we sell per month etc. Call us if you have any questions we'll be glad to help you.

thanks for the input guys....
if i get the E/J will i still need a reprogrammer to compensate for tire sizes?..
guess i should probably start looking at upgrading the Ally too from everything I'm reading on here
now just as long as Hurricane Dennis doesn't destroy Florida I should have my truck this weekend

Don't worry Dennis is just a menace I think we will be fine and you should be sporting a new DMAX soon. Congrats and welcome to The DP.

Just get a predator and keep it 65hp or lower. You can change the speed limiter and tire sizes with it. It's relatively cheap too.

Do NOT pick up your truck before Dennis has passed! If its broken by Dennis its your problem but sitting on the Dealers lot its their problem!
Good Luck with Dennis, waiting myself (sitting on Lake Pontchartrain Louisiana...) :exactly:

I must say that I am happy with my bully dog power up pup. I have picked up a couple miles to the gallon, and have great power. I think that bully dog is a litle rough around the edges compared to the other guys, but their products work.

I have the bully dog power pup for the LB7 motor and like it. it brings the power in later in the rpm range than the edge does. i only got the Edge because i got a good deal on a used one. If you get the bully dog i think you will like it.

I had no issues with the Bullydog Powerpup, but I wanted to be able to change the settings without having to reprogram, so I bought the Banks Six-Gun. Level 4 runs with the 95hp setting on the Bullydog.
