Someone pulled a PayPal scam on him and he lost out big. Once bitten, twice shy, and I don't blame him. Those who have delt with Christopher have had nothing but good things to say. Those who have used his innovations seem to have been nothing but satisfied.

Interesting. Then you are in a very small and exclusive group. Chris has been polarizing over the years, but I've only heard of a couple of guys actually having problems buying things from him. I'll echo most everyone elses opinion in this regard... he's a stand-up guy. Just a little quirky because of a deal-gone-wrong.

The way he's doing business these days is a real PITA, no doubt... and it certainly raises questions. Shoot... if I hadn't personally bought stuff from him and known others who have spent big bucks for V2's and such... I would never recommend him or his products. But, he's the sole source for a few key products for the LLY. Caveat Emptor as always...

Well I got a sorry about your luck when some how his site let me pay for the Mike L cooler with pay pal and I was out 450 bucks and no cooler......If it wasnt for 2 really good guys on here I would still be without a cooler and out my money....So you tell me how good he is?

Look... I have no desire to re-open the hows and whats of your experience with Chris... nor do I have any desire to attempt to defend anyone or any of the details of what happened. I just know that the vast majority of guys who have done business with Chris are happy customers, me included. The fact is that no business is perfect, and every one of 'em have their detractors.

He's not and was not "THE" guy. :)
