I bought an used edge juice with attitude monitor. I hooked the juice up last night w/o the attitude (waiting on a new thermocoupler). I followed the steps to get conformation on the power level setting but the trurck/juice won't rev the engine. I tried level one to start. Not sure if it is working.

Does the milage or length of time the juice/attitude has been used effect anything?

Does hooking up the juice w/o the attitude matter?

Do i have to do anything special when I'm ready to hook up the monitor?

Sometimes it can be a PITA to get it to take a level. Read the destructions and follow it again is all I can tell ya. Also can you change your oil minder? You should be able to set the level with the attitude and it will keep when you unplug it....or I believe so anyway. Worse case call edge, thier customer service rocks and they will set you up.

Try this. Plug the attitude in and set the level and then unplug the attitude. I beleive the Juice will remember what level it was set at. I could be wrong. Also if you don't want to do that try setting it to level 4 manually and see if you get a response. When I did it manually my truck reved up 4 times really fast. 1 rev may be hard to notice.

Why not let the attitude plugged? You don't need to have the pyro hooked up to use it. You can even pass the wire out of the hood and into the door. It's not visible from the outside.
