Does the Bullydog Outlook Monitor just display speed on it's screen, or can it actually correct the in dash speedo like a programmer can for tire size changes? Bullydog web site is a little confusing one part says, "Contains Speedometer for lager tire" & another section says "Accurate Speed Readings - By entering the proper tire size it will adjust the speedometer assuring accurate readings on tires up to 45”."

I think it just shows the speed of what ever tire size you set the monitor to. Mine does not match the speedo. I've got one on my 04.5 lly and like it so far. Do you watch your trans slip screen? I've noticed that when in overdrive it shows anywhere from 0 to 2 % when I'm just cruising down the road. I had my dealer recalibrate for 265/75/16 tires that I put on but I never measured them to put that size in the monitor. Not sure if that could cause it. conflicting tire size?
Give me a shout to let me know how you like yours.

Thanks Frank. I don't actually have an Outlook monitor, just doing my homework before I buy. Since I put on the H2's w/315 tires I want to correct the in dash speedo (it's off 12% now), so I've been looking at programmers which allow you to recalibrate the speedo. If the Outlook Monitor corrected the in dash speedo + all the other good monitoring stuff it would be worth the extra $$$. For now I'll probably just get a Predator or Power Pup programmer.

jeepobsessive,
The Outlook will monitor Allison slippage, read out the corrected speedo MPH based on tire size and has the safety defueling features too. I would reccomend you get the Power Pup and Outlook together, you save a little money and get all the features at one time. Call us we have them in stock and will be glad to answer any questions you might have.
