This all started while i was hauling about 6000# of scrap iron. I made a stop to grab some grub. When i turned off my truck, my fuel system lost prime. I primed it and was bothered by it and just hoped it was a one time thing. I made another stop on my way home to my in-laws and it did it again. This time when i primed it i noticed there was fuel bubbling around the fuel heater plug on the fuel filter manifold. I got it started and kept on my way home and it threw a code 0087 (fuel rail pressure too low) and stuck me in limp mode. I stopped and reset the codes twice so i wouldn't make a 30 mile trip going 20 miles an hour. It only threw codes while going up hills. The only quick fix i can think for this is to spray it down with brake cleaner to clean the area and spread some silicone around it and let it sit over the night. I just installed the nicktane billet fuel filter adapter yesterday and the PPE race fuel valve two days ago. Is there any better way to go about fixing this, or at least a better temporary fix until i can get it to my dealership tomorrow??
