does anyone know the approximate miles expected out of the Dmax engine vs the other brands???????

briano 07-07-2005, 02:45 PM don't know about comparing other brands, but any diesel if taken care of and kept up on maintenance will last well over 150,000 miles...EASY, there are some on here with way more than that. Big GMC 07-07-2005, 02:48 PM If a diesel is properly maintained then it should last into the 300's right? I know of a 1994 6.5 liter turbo diesel that has almost 300,000 miles on it. Let's just say you should be looking forward to many years of enjoyment with your truck! I would expect Dodge and Ford to have similar results. Was still running very strong till the last injector puke.
