I just put in a set of the Putco Chrome Tie Down Anchors. The kind that are hidden and can spring up and down.
Thoughts:
1. The look great and are heavy duty.
2. It seems like the want to slip out of the stake pocket, almost like I cant get them tight enough to stay in. When I put the bikes in (3 bikes) when we arrived at the mountains the anchors had moved up about 1/4". So I tightened them down before the trip home, but the same thing happened.

Anyone else run these tie down anchors? Any thoughts suggestions on keeping them from slipping?

I am having the same problem with mine. I think mine is worse since i also have the bed rail cap. I think the stake pocket on the be is "tight" so there is no lip for the rubber to grab on to when tightened. I just played with mime trying to get it to grab on, still comes loose. If you figure anything out, let me know.
