Has anybody swapped out seats in their trucks yet?

I was wanting to switch my plane manual driver seat into a 6 way adjustable seat. Is there any aftermarket seats or factor seat I can do this with?

I have the LS 2005 model, and the wife wants an 6 way electric adjustable.

Well tomorrow I will have more info for you. I am changing the 6 way power seats on our 2000 suburban to 8 way power heated seats. I'll try to do a writeup once I get it figgured out. I can tell you the seats bolt right in, only thing you have to do is supply power. Any gmt800 seat will for any truck except possibly the cab chassis.

A 15mm 6-Point socket works to get off the Male torx if you dont have the right size socket.

I haven't looked at the 03 up trucks but on the 00-02 going from 6 way to 8 way with memory wasn't fun. The 6 way only had power and ground needed, I'm sure you can snag that from the fuse box where it belongs. 8 way has power for heat, and several other power sources for the memory. I'm sure on an 03 up your gonna need data for the memory. Get a manual and go to town, wording diagrams are your friend.

On 03-up trucks it's not as simple as you would think. Way more to it than power and ground.
