I can't get this thing to work. I've got the white wire spliced into the tail light, the red wire spliced into the "+", and everything else is in order, or so I think it is. Help please.

are you sure you've got a hot 12v source at that red wire?

No I am not. I know the post is connected to the battery, and that there is no fuse in stud 1, but when I pulled the fuse from stud 3 or 4 and inserted into stud 1, I still get nothing. By connecting the "park" wire to the running lights wire on the plug, I managed to get a right hand turn signal with the lights turned on.

For clarification; I have the ground-white
the left-yellow or green
the right-yellow or green
the white-reverse light, drivers side, I believe the wire is green.
The red-red
and the park-yellowish/green color wire, the one in center.

I'm no electrician AND suck at following instructions.

Because I'm not incapable, I just need better directIons. The ones that came included didn't even mention a constant hot.

Turns out it was 3 or 4 fuses under the hood. All the wiring was correct.

but all is not well, a few bulbs are out in the middle of the left blinker sequence. I guess this bar will be headed back for a replacement.
