I fairly recently installed the AMSOIL BMK-27 on my truck and mounted it to the outside edge of the frame behind the drivers front fender. The filters hang just about an inch or so below the frame which scares me considering my choice of routes for driving and next winter. So am goin to buy the mount bracket from Danes site but first would like to know, does it mount out of the way and in a safe location where I wont have to worry about hitting the filters on anything?

Yes J it will use exsiting holes in the Dmax frame and the filters will not hang below the frame rails. They will be mounted up inside by the torsion bar protected from getting hit by things.
