Hey guys. I cant decided Banks 6 gun with the IQ or go with Nick from duramaxtuner (he is only 2 hours away). I have a friend with the Banks and I love it. I know its not a ton of extra power but I dont need lots of power. I had a 75 horse EFI Live tune in my truck when I got it. I got it taken out form the dealer when they did my injectors. It was ok. I loved being able to go 75 and only be at 2100 rpm. I miss the milage a lot! Can you adjust tire size with the banks? I have 285s on my truck and I want my speedo to be correct. I would do the EFI Live switch with at least 3 tunes if I do it. one for stock one for tow and one for added power. I want extra power but I want it to be safe. My buddy with the Banks beats his truck hard and has never had a problem in the 40,000 he has put on with it. Well tell me what you guys think bc this is a lot of money to spend and not be happy.

Yes, with the banks you can calibrate you tires, but if you're looking for something simple and on the fly with good power, banks is the way to go.. But to be honest if you have the money, go with EFI live..

Actually you can't..... unless they've added that recently.... when you change that setting in the banks you only change it on that display..... It can't change your speedometer.....

I'd spend the little more and get a set of gauges and go with EFI Live myself....... Just because I ran the Banks on my D-max and would have liked to be able to do more...... With the EFI Live you can recalibrate your speedometer, fuel gauge (for if you get a larger tank), as well as tuning the engine........ Don't get me wrong now, I liked the 6-gun and never had any problems with it..... It's just personal preference that after a little while I would have liked to be able to play around with it a little bit more than the Banks allows.....

That's what i ment, didn't mean actually changing the speedo.. But for a plug and play tuner like the six gun, works very well!!
