bowtie 07-06-2005, 09:47 PM Hey guys we are looking for some good looking Truck pictures, and I want some 6.5's in the mix for the voting.
http://dieselplace.com/forum/announcement.php?f=21&a=21
Come on guys get those trucks cleaned up and take some pictures for us:exactly:
knkreb 07-06-2005, 09:49 PM Hey, we posted at the same time. . . see the "Miss September" thread down a few minutes ago.
bowtie 07-06-2005, 10:37 PM I can only submit pictures of the truck I own so I am asking ya to read the link and send some pictures in. Thats all
knkreb 07-07-2005, 12:35 AM Yeah, I know, I'z just pullin' yer leg. Besides, I've gotta do some air brushin' on this baby yet!
There's only two different states you'll find for a 6.5. One is having the fun with it, and the other is having the hood up. Hopefully your shutter is ready for the first, and not the second state.
CentralFLNative 07-07-2005, 12:44 AM Are we talking about stuff like this?. I hate to give up the bed, but it'd be worth it.
knkreb 07-07-2005, 12:50 AM What in the world is that thing? I've never seen one like that before. Is that something that someone built themselves, or came from GM that way?
CentralFLNative 07-07-2005, 12:52 AM It's my response to the 3rd row seating need for today's larger families.
Bagalac 07-07-2005, 01:34 AM it's photochopped its not real look at the rock in the middle of the 2nd row window.. you'll see the same rock in the middle of the 3rd row window
pretty good chop though
CentralFLNative 07-07-2005, 06:55 AM I messed up on the palm in the window too. It doesn't line up.
This truck only exists in my mind and on my computer.
knkreb 07-07-2005, 07:06 AM Hey, two years of photography, and I didn't even notice.
93_Burrito 07-07-2005, 09:40 AM CentralFLNative,
Believe it or not, I saw a similar truck to that in real life about a week ago. It was on I-83 heading north just below Harrisburg. It was black, had 4 doors on each side with an 8ft bed and it was a dually. It was also towing a huge 5th wheel (or gooseneck, I was going south). Looked like a fancy car-hauling trailer with living quarters that small-fry race teams use. Susquehanna Speedway and Port Royal are nearby dirt tracks... the truck definitely caught your attention with it's ridiculous length.

And on my computer now too
Next step to the drawing board
Firefighter 07-07-2005, 11:07 AM There is a Crew Cab Extended Cab 6.5 dually around here once in a while. The next time I see it I'll try and snap a couple pictures of it. I haven't seen it in about a year though..
Carey Weber 07-07-2005, 01:26 PM I don't want a thrid set of doors.
However I saw a Ford Crew Cab that had an Extended Cab back grafted on and that looked cool. IIRC Dodge is doing something like that on there full size trucks soon because they have lagged behind in the Crew Cab department till the last year or two.

Bagalac 07-07-2005, 05:58 PM getting ready to add the extended cab to mine as soon as i move into my new shop.

Yea, how long have I heard that one bagalac
CentralFLNative 07-07-2005, 06:13 PM By the end of this year I will have three child seats in the back of my crewcab. Some more room would be nice. I tried to convince my wife that we could make an air conditioned trailer to tote all the kids, but she wasn't so thrilled.
I actually hope no one makes a third row seated pickup truck. It would be just one more thing that I want, but could never afford. There's enough on that list already.

Hey, hey, hey, let me send her pics of the bus! Reasonably priced, and quite a head-turner too. Think of the potiential!
kimagine 07-07-2005, 07:26 PM I've seen two Fords with 6 doors and 8' beds and there are a couple of limo companies that are running the F350 dually 8 door limos. Bed would be a good place for the mobile hot tub.

In the main announcement, you mentioned one pic, but I based it on your quote here since I did not know what type of shot you were looking for. I am sending a few (file transfering) as I write.
Thanks,
Mark
